Hideki Yamaya and Catherine Hancock return to the Southfield Church to share an entertaining and whimsical afternoon of Renaissance and Baroque music from Italy, Spain, and England about animals, nature and more! This program explores a humorous and quirky side of early music through the music of Josquin, Marin, Willaert, Dowland and others. Come hear chickens cluck, bees buzz, frogs croak, and hear the beautiful sounds of the Renaissance Guitar, Renaissance Lute, and Baroque Guitar.
