It is with great joy that we invite you to an upcoming concert with the early music group and Ensemble in Residence at St. John's in the Village, Anglica Antiqua.

Anglica Antiqua at Yuletide takes place Friday, December 8th, 2017 at 7:30pm, followed by a reception full of drink and merriment. 

This will be a festive and uplifting night of music and poetry. Some of the tunes you might recognize: You'll hear 16th and 17th century lute songs, motets, and madrigals, featuring works by Byrd, Dowland, Campion Taverner, alongside traditional Christmas music from the period. Paired with the music, you will also hear poetry by Donne, Milton and more.
